The Weald celebrates excellent A level results
Students are celebrating a bumper crop of A level results with 28% of grades at A/A*, 60% of grades at A*-B and 84% of grades at A*-C.
Students have achieved the highest average point score per entry in the school's history.
Students are celebrating a bumper crop of A level results with 28% of grades at A/A*, 60% of grades at A*-B and 84% of grades at A*-C. Headteacher Peter Woodman commented "Our results have continued to improve despite a national tightening on grades. Students have achieved the highest average point score per entry in the school's history". Some 21 students achieved the equivalent of 3 grade As or better.
Star performers included Chris Khoo who achieved 5 A* to secure his place at Robinson College Cambridge to study Natural Sciences. Other high achievers included Dan Pettitt with 3A* &1A, Cameron Thompson with 2A* & 2A and Josephine Burgin with 2A* & 2A.
