Mr Fry said "it was amazing to see so many young people outside who want to help their community. The event coincided with our Summer Solstice tutor time event where we reflected and explored upon consideration and compassion."

It is important that we teach our youngsters about the responsibilities of the environment and community. If we do not care about litter on our street or in our parks we are unlikely to care about other environmental issues that negatively impact on our lives, our community and society. Our Weald students are proud that they belong to this school and community. We believe that events like this help teach students that we all have a role and responsibility to play.
