Elgar House Reindeer Run

Elgar House students recently held their fifth reindeer run in aid of Chestnut Tree Children’s Hospice.

Although it’s still being counted, the total raised so far is in excess of £4,000, which has already beaten last year’s total by over £700!

Students were challenged to run 48 miles, which is the distance between the school and the Chestnut Tree House hospice near Arundel and back.

The route was mapped out around the school campus and Station Road Gardens, and students were divided into teams to tackle the distance.

Despite some rain, the snow still fell courtesy of 'To Have and To Hire Events' snow machine.

To add some more festive cheer, students wore Christmas jumpers, antlers and flashing red noses.

Elgar house would like to thank everyone who has supported this event over the years including several generous companies such as Allfire Uk, Energys Group, West Sussex flooring, GM Lomers, New street Butchers and Deli, Study Experiences, Tooveys and Steam Express Ironing Services.
