We are absolutely delighted with the narrative of this report: the inspectors have highlighted some of the aspects of our school of which we are most proud.  Our students, your children, showed the very best of themselves throughout the 2 days that the inspection team was with us and we are, as always, incredibly proud of every member of our school community.

The cost of the hoodie is £13.50, and should you wish to purchase one, payment must be made by 17^th March which will give ample time for the ordering and production of the hoodie. No orders will be accepted after this date.

Last year we received new softy rounder’s balls for PE and measuring spoons for Food Technology.

Next week we have 3 teams of gymnasts entering the U13 & U16 trio regional competition in the hope of qualifying for the national finals. We wish them all the best of luck!

With over 3000 secondary schools in England, this puts The Weald in the top 300 schools in the country. Progress 8 tells us how well pupils have progressed between the end of primary school and the end of secondary school (Year 11), compared to pupils in other schools who got similar results at the end of primary school. This is based on results in up to 8 qualifications, which include English, maths, 3 qualifications including sciences, computer science, history, geography and languages, and 3 other additional qualifications. 

Achievement post 16 (Year 13) is equally high. Our value added or progress scores post 16 put the performance of students from The Weald in the top 20% of schools nationally.

With over 600 attendees, The Fair was open to students across all year groups. The evening is designed to empower students to make informed decisions about their future choices, whether they are considering apprenticeships, further or higher education or employment. 

Around 700 students, proud parents and esteemed guests from the community all gathered to celebrate another outstanding year.  Students at The Weald excel in a wide range of skills throughout the year and this annual event recognises exceptional successes for effort, progress, and wider contribution to the school.
