Future Choices
UCAS is the University and College Central Admissions online system which processes applications to higher education. If any student wants to progress onto University, our dedicated advice team are on hand during the entire UCAS process. Here at The Weald, we offer a range of activities to support any student who wishes to go to University with the application process;
- A visit to a Higher Education Fair where the majority of Higher Education Providers are represented
- A Future Choices information Day
- A Personal Statement writing workshop with ongoing guidance from dedicated UCAS coordinators and personal tutors
- Face to face advice during our UCAS drop-in sessions
- Support with completing the UCAS online form and replying to offers
- Talks and information regarding student finance
- Advice and guidance on AS/A-Level results day
- An experienced team of tutors to meet with on a regular basis
- Practice Interview opportunities
We have an excellent track record of successfully placing students into a range of courses at Universities across the UK, as well as abroad. Students applying to Oxbridge or Medical/Veterinary pathways are offered an intensive support programme from experienced staff to help with Interview and assessment techniques and meet their earlier deadline.
