Updates:

- Year 10 'An Inspector Calls' - Well done to students for engaging so well with the performances on Monday.

- Reward Events - Well done to all students for their year group and library reward afternoon events.

- Sports Day - Congratulations to Thompson house for winning this year's fantastic sports day (another brilliant community event)

- Parent Partnership - Thank you to parents/carers for joining us on Wednesday evening.  Notes will follow from Mrs McCaughan in September (she's currently on the Kenya trip!)

- Classrooms for Kenya - The group has arrived in Kenya and are having a day of rest before they start building!  Thank you to everyone for supporting them - This year we've raised almost £21,000!!  (You can still donate here)

- Year 10 Action Your Potential - Well done to students for engaging so well with the small group work on Thursday.

- Year 12 Art Trip - We hope students enjoyed this new trip yesterday .

- Year 7 Battle of the Bands - Well done to students for performing and being such a great audience during some brilliant performances!

- Sports Update - Well done to the Year 10 boys' cricket team who narrowly lost out on a place in the final - some great performances by Jack, Adam and Jack.

- House Cup Assembly - Well done to Mercury house for winning the house cup for the term, to Blackman house for winning the sport and culture cup and to Thompson house for winning the overall house cup for the year - they will be celebrating on Tuesday morning!

Upcoming:

- End of Term - Tuesday 22 July (early close, students dismissed at 1.20pm, buses depart at 1.30 pm)

- Start of Term - Year 7 only on Thursday 4 September (plus Year 12 for enrolment), Years 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 13 on Friday 5 September - this will be a Week B.  (The first full week Monday 8 September is Week A.)  New Sixth Formers in Year 12 start on Monday 8 September. 

- Exam Results - We'll be open on Thursday 14 August for Key Stage 5 results and on Thursday 21 August for Key Stage 4 results.

- WEALDFEST! - Please come and join us this Saturday 19 July to help us raise money for a new minibus!  Full details here
