  • Grimm Tales box office now open

    We’re proud to announce that this year’s eagerly awaited school production is ‘Grimm Tales’, based on the legendary fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. Adapted by Tim Supple and Carol Ann Duffy, the plays were originally staged by the Young Vic Theatre Company. We are staging seven of the plays, which will be hilarious and gruesome in equal measure.

  • Sixth Form Open Evening, 19 November, 6.00-8.30pm

    We'd like extend a warm welcome to our Open Evening, where there will be an opportunity to attend a short presentation in the School Hall at both 6pm and 7pm. Throughout the evening you are welcome to visit all subject areas where staff and students will be on hand to discuss their subjects with you and answer any questions you may have.

  • Remembrance Day honoured as School falls silent

    Today Weald students remembered all those who have died and fought for Britain by taking part in a two minutes’ silence at 11am . Students observed the occasion  alongside a performance of the Last Post by members of school concert band.

  • Weald School takes second in Greenpower Car National Championships

    Students at The Weald were celebrating this week as they took second place in the national championships of the Greenpower Car race held at Rockingham Speedway near Corby, Northamptonshire.  The Greenpower Trust encourages schools to build electric cars which are then driven by students and are powered by two car batteries.

    The Weald School was alive with the sounds of laughter and tears of joy as students received their A level results. The school was celebrating another bumper set of results with 84% of grades at A*-C and amongst the school’s best ever results.
