Updates:

- Athletics Results - 2nd in county with 9 students going on to represent the district at the Sussex finals in a few weeks' time - congratulations to the whole team for such a great result!

- Year 13 Last Lessons - We bid this lovely cohort farewell today and wish them all the very best.

- Uniform Working Party - Well done and thank you to Amelia and Ros for their hard work with this. Please look out for a letter coming in the following week's from Mr Catt (absolutely no added costs for parents/carers).

- School Council - Thank you to the form reps who have met with me recently. Changes coming from September, more news to follow.

Upcoming:

- Cultural Diversity Day - A week of events next week including food from different cultures in the canteen, tutor time activities, pin your flag on the map in the LRC at lunch times and on Thursday 23 we'd love to taste food from students' own home/heritage countries (more details from form tutors).

- Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh Assembly - Tuesday 21 May.

- Inclusion Coffee Morning - For parents/carers of children with SEND on Thursday 23 May (please see invitation from Inclusion Department).

- Year 11 Last Day - Friday 24 May, BBQ and leavers' assembly (students can bring in a shirt for signing).

For information:

- 'Baby Reindeer' - Pastoral staff have asked me to warn parents/carers about the content of this age 18 rated series on Netflix, as there are some very disturbing scenes and content.

- Holidays in Term Time - Please be advised that headteachers are not permitted to authorise these, please book holidays during school holidays.
