In the spring term, Year 8 students choose the subjects they wish to study at GCSE or equivalent for the next three years.  

In order to support your child through the process of Key Stage 4 options, we have a full programme of events both during the school day for students and after school for parents and students to attend together. Students also receive information via assemblies and Personal Development lessons, and of course, their subject teachers and form tutors are happy to provide support and guidance throughout. 

During February, we will send out our option's booklet detailing full information about all the subjects on offer and the options process. This has always proved to be a useful point of reference for students and parents. You can also find all the relevant information for 2026 at the Presentation Evening which will be held on Thursday 26 February (the slides will be added here afterwards).
