Year 11 Prom

Year 11 students marked another successful year by celebrating at their annual Leavers Prom on Friday 1 July by cruising down the River Thames.

Students looked amazing in their finery as they arrived in a variety of vehicles ranging from limousines and camper vans. They then embarked upon the coaches for the journey up to London passing the many historical sites before being dropped off at Westminster Pier.

On the boat they were greeted with a free non-alcoholic punch and buffet, followed by a disco where students danced the night away until the early hours. As always they were a credit to the School, with the boat crew complimenting them on how well behaved they were, whilst still knowing how to have a good time.

Mr Tim Peck, Key Stage 4 Director of Learning commented ‘The Prom is a time for celebration and this year is no exception. The students have all worked hard and duly deserve the praise for their efforts and to have some fun to celebrate.’
