The Weald is a warm and friendly school where our ethos is that everyone is valued and has a vital role to play to make it an excellent place to learn, grow and thrive. Our vision is summed up in two words: Opportunity and Community.
The school is structured into six houses: Attenborough, Blackman, DaVinci, Mercury, Seacole, Thompson. Each has a non-teaching Head of House available for supporting students and parents. A house is typically made up of approximately 10 tutor groups. Year 11 have dedicated tutors; other tutor groups comprise 5-7 students from each year group, 7 through to 10.
