Head of House (Pastoral Leader)

NJC Grade 8 (Points 20-24) £32,597 - £35,412 FTE
Actual salary range £31,092 - £33,777 per annum

37 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days, + 4 weeks pay to reflect overtime/ flexible working mainly during term time

The Weald is a high achieving, popular and oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school, situated in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, 10 minutes from Horsham, 35 minutes from Guildford and Brighton, and an hour by train to London.  The school has an excellent record of academic and pastoral achievement and we pride ourselves in creating a caring and respectful ethos where every child is important.

We require a confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work within the pastoral team to oversee the support, guidance and behaviour of students from Years 7 to 11, within a house system. Liaising with staff, students, parents and external agencies and delivery of assemblies will be part of the role.
